Menstrual Medicine Cirlces
What if you had the opportunity to take a journey, leading you to insights about your needs, while gaining access to your inner wisdom? All seen through the landscape of your menstrual cycle.
The Menstrual Medicine Circle process has been born out of Red School’s many years of experience of working with women, and teaching women the art of Menstruality. Having completed the Women’s Quest Apprenticeship in 2016, the opportunity to train as a Menstrual Medicine Circle Facilitator felt hugely important in my career as a Menstrual Educator and Therapist.
What happens during a session?
Menstrual Medicine Circles (MMC) are one to one sessions, either in person or online (via Zoom, so your session can be recorded for your later viewing).
Before your MMC, you will receive a client intake form which asks you to explore your relationship with your menstrual cycle, whether you are currently menstruating or not.
You will be asked to set an intention for the session, and that intention offers a place of grounding during your MMC journey.
As your facilitator, I will support you, and guide you through an imagined journey around your menstrual cycle, using the language of the menstrual seasons, to access insights in each phase or season of your cycle.
You may be looking for insights into life decisions, how to help yourself with menstrual issues, how to hold yourself on your fertility journey, what your peri/menopause experience is teaching you…the list is endless, and deeply personal to you.
By the end of the session, you will be guided back to a grounded place, followed by a review of your experience and how you can take your insights into your lived experience.
Who is an MMC suitable for?
Anyone in their menstruating years, or no longer menstruating (menopause or post-hysterectomy) who is open to exploring their cyclical nature.
Please get in touch if you would like to explore your inner wisdom with this beautiful and gently held process.
